[ groans lowly before pushing himself up a bit. ]
”…son of a…”
"He was here!" She exclaimed, pointing to the ground. "I swear, I found him here and he kept saying how he wanted me to leave. It was obvious something was going to happen but he was so persistent so I decided to give in to his wishes and left. Now I wish I hadn’t." She added bitterly, ceasing her floating to stand in front of him. "I shouldn’t have left. Now he’s gone. He could be dead."
[Sighing heavily; the survivor hesitantly stepped towards Yanet with a faint frown forming over his features. Pressing his forehead to hers, chocolate hues slid shut before saying anything.]
”We’ll find him. You don’t need to worry about it, we’ll find him. Knowing him he probably get messed up in the wrong thing and was only trying to keep you out of it. He does everything out of love for you.”
[Worrying never truly solved anything. Noite was more than likely fine.]
”He’s not dead. He knows better than to do that to you.”
"True but when you’re in a tree, everything looks like it’s father than it actually is." He wasn’t exactly focusing on how high he had been but more on making sure he didn’t fall from the tree. "Another? Hmm… When I was little I had a teddy bear called Tibbles I would carry around. He was my best friend."
”That’s very true. When you’re up high though, that’s the point. But you got out of it okay, that’s all that matters.”
[If he didn’t, then he wouldn’t be here for all she knew. A soft sigh left the petite brunette, though it was clouded with fatigue. Nuzzling in closer to his side, a small nod was given in reply to what he said.]
Feeling her head resting on his shoulder, he gently shifted to remove the soup from her lap before it spilled over, and he set it onto the table. Reaching up, he ran his fingers through her short hair and furrowed his eyebrows a little bit. Looking down at her, he pressed his lips to the top of her head. “Eat a little bit and then you can rest, love.”
[There goes her food, though no fight was given in him taking it away. She knew why he did so anyways. Natalie pressed in closer to Anthony’s side with a shake of the head. The food that she did eat was agreeing to her to the best of it’s ability right now, though she was not sure how long that would last. Right now her stomach was in knots trying keep it down.]
”Can’t eat anymore. I’m not that hungry.”
A Long Forgotten Hello [Nanet]
It’s been months since they last saw each other and Yanet is starting to fear the worst; that he isn’t coming back.
"Yeah, it’s pretty funny when I think about it now. I wasn’t even that high up." But from his perspective at the time, it was super high up. "Your turn. Or are you too tired?"
”About high up were you? I mean, if it wasn’t that high up then you couldn’t have been but a few branches up.”
[Of course height was different for everyone, so she may be wrong. She pressed closer to him with a shake of the head.]
”Too tired. Tell another, please?”
